"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting an uphill battle."
Alexa disliked the first 5+ hot yoga classes that her childhood best friend, a principal ballerina, made her go to. She thanks Brittany now though, after falling deeply in love with the practice and with Pantanjali's other 7 limbs of yoga. It was when Alexa incorporated these other 7 limbs that she truly noticed a wonderful, curious difference in her life. That feeling is magical to her and she seeks to share it. Alexa fully admits to being a "yoga-pusher/encourager," as she believes that yoga can drastically improve your mood, health, and flexibility. As an athlete, Alexa seeks yoga as a way to prevent injury and maintain mobility. As a person, she finds yoga is a way to uncover joy and appreciation for the beautiful mind and body.
Alexa earned her 200 Hr RYT Certification at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, MA. At Kripalu, classes culminate with the unified sound of "Jai Bhagwan," which is a Hindi version of the ancient Sanskrit greeting "Namaste."
